Urban Outfitters Haul
A few weeks I was browsing the web and realised you can get Urban Outfitters orders delivered to NZ, so I thought I'd give it a try. I love the look of the homewares, but wanted to try with a cheaper order to see what the service was like.
I went for the longest delivery period, so had to wait quite a while, but when it was delivered I was super excited. The person who packed my order didn't pt nearly enough bubble wrap in so everything was bopping around in there. Thank fully all the products were still intact, but the Pixi Beauty boxes were a little worse for wear, and the Glow book has a dent in the spine. Not a big deal for these products, but I wouldn't be so sure about ordering anything more fragile.
I'm happy with everything I bought. It turns out you can get Mario Badescu products at Mecca, but this helped me get over the free shipping threshold, so I'm not too bothered. Will be headed there to see the rest of the range though. I've already read Plant Style, so keep an eye out for a review of that if you want to hear more about it. I'll be flicking through Essential Glow this week, and hunting out some oils to test the recipes. I've heard such good things about each of these skincare items, but I'll be testing the skincare one at a time. I have sensitive skin, so if I were to break out it'd be a little hard to tell which one it was that effected me. Those cookie cutters will certainly being tested next weekend, although I've never successfully made sugar cookies, so that might be a good laugh the first time around. It's always fun to try new baking anway.
If you've bought something from Urban Outfitters sent to NZ, let me know how you found the delivery too in the comments below. I'd be keen to see how it is for others in case this was a one off with the packing.
