Get to Work Book Unboxing + Mini Review
I first found the Get To Work Book on Instagram. And then I saw it on more people's Instagram accounts, followed Elise, knew I needed it, waited for the 2017 book to come out for preorder and obsessed over getting it. Now I've got it and I cannot wait to get started. But I also don't want it to be January, so I'm being patient.
The Get To Work Book is a planner for those who just want to list out the to dos for the day, without time slots and restrictions. It is also free of colour, for the sole purpose that you can add your own in your own personal way. You could also keep it the way it is with just black pen, if that's your thing. I've been looking at coloured washi tapes and pens and stickers so that I can decorate it as a momento for the awesome things that happen that day and week and month.
There are spots for planning for the month, your 3 main action items for the week and day, room for setting out each day and a grid at the bottom of the weekly spread to doodle and add fun bits. I think this is where I will add my favourite parts of the day, and what inspired me to do more. As much as I will be using this planner to organise my home life, I also want to be able to look back on it, remember the year and feel inspired.
I'm so happy with the quality of the book, the thickness of the paper, the tabs and everything this planner offers. It is a premium product that you can really see how much attention to detail Elise has added to the whole book.
I also purchased the book band, the today bookmark, the three washi tapes, the project planning pad and the 2017 wall calendar. I honestly love them all. I haven't put the washi tape to use yet, but that's the only thing I haven't tested out. I'm hoping it's nice and sticky, so will let you know later as I use it what I think. The book band is really good quality, is a great size for the book and has that beautiful quote. The pad is again great quality and is another open design so you can use it for a lot of different things with the simple grid. This calendar is going to be so helpful this year. It's got a decent amount of space for adding in all of the things you have on. It would also be great for a family I think, who would just put the big things on there, maybe not every single soccer training but the start and end of the season maybe. it's so clear and monochrome so that you can add your own twist.
Overall, I spent about $180 NZD, but for me, who loves laying gout my week and getting everything sorted, it's worth it for such a premium product.
This actually arrived a few weeks ago but I'm just now getting around to posting about it.
