Username: Regenerated by Joe Sugg | Graphic Novel Review
Joe Sugg's second graphic novel, Username: Regenerated is another step up from his first. It has the same great set of characters, with added depth and a fast paced storyline. It takes place a little while after the first and goes from there, with Evie having a slightly older look. The art is so well done. Before reading the explanation of the team behind the first graphic novel, I didn't know there was a person just for the colour. I think it was an improvement on the first, with a wider range of colours used as they went to new places. The new areas are so well drawn and the flow of the speech is very well laid out.
The story was well written, with new developments about her family and friends, and the people of E.SCAPE. I don't want to spoil any of the storyline in case you haven't read the first one though.
I do wonder if these graphic novels will continue. They're great and deserve to become a longer series. The cover is the same style as the first book so they match perfectly on my bookshelf.
Whether you love graphic novels, or have never read one, I'd recommend this one.
