MAC Waterweight Foundation | Beauty Review

I love wearing a light foundation during the day that is kind on my skin, but makes me look a little more fresh and bright. I got a couple of free testers from stores  in early summer to decide which foundation I should go for and it took me a little while to make my decision, but the MAC Waterweight Foundation was the winner.

It covers slight redness and hyper-pigmentation, but not pimples and dark under eye circles. I use concealer for those though, so that’s OK by me. It is definitely buildable, I’ve tried wearing this both super light for day and layered up for a nighttime look. It does look quite glowy and dewy, so if you like that, wear it on it's own. I personally like to add a little powder to mattify it a little.

I think this has such a great range of shades. Don’t be discouraged by the small amount of shades they sometimes show on the little stand in store, just ask to be matched to your perfect shade. I’m super pale and quite pink so I often struggle to find a shade that perfectly suits me. I have NW 13 which is essentially the most pale for red toned people.

I’m loving this foundation, so I definitely recommend you try it the next time you are in a MAC store.
