Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask Review

Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask Review |

Lush sells these cool face masks made of fresh ingredients. They might only last a few weeks, but they are a smaller price than other masks that last for years. You do have to keep them in the fridge though, otherwise like food they'll go off. I'd recommend taking the mask out of the fridge ten or so minutes before you apply it though. Otherwise you'll seriously chill your face.

This chunky little number is aimed at those of us with temperamental, hormonal skin. I thought I would give it a try and see if the ingredients in the mask helped my skin at all. It did, but only for a very short amount of time, maybe a few days.

The first couple of times I used this mask, it brought out some pimples, meaning I had a day of super bad skin, then a few days of slightly improved skin. That's not enough for me to be overjoyed, but it's something.

The other thing is that since the mask has got a clay consistency, when you wipe the mask off, the mask leaves a clay residue on your skin. I found a light cleanser removed that though.

Since this mask didn't have a lasting effect on my skin, I've decided not to repurchase. I think it would be great for my skin however, if I didn't have so many pimples that I'm eager to get rid of. My skin isn't happy at the moment and since it didn't sort that out, it didn't quite do what I bought it for. Once my skin gets back to normal, I think I'll give it another try.
